Ingredients
2 lbs. of hamburger
1/2 cup of fine bread crumbs
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp of pepper
1/2 tsp of garlic salt
2 tbsp. of chopped onion
1/4 tsp. of nutmeg
1 egg
*Chill for 2 hours after all the above ingredients are mixed together. Make meatballs and brown.
Sauce
1/2 cup of chopped onion
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 tbsp. of butter
3 tbsp. of vinegar
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1 cup of BBQ sauce
1 tsp. of salt and paparika
1/2 tsp. of pepper
1 cup of ketchup
1/2 cup of water
*Brown onions and garlic in butter and combine the rest of the sauce ingredients. Cook over low heat, pour over browned meatballs. Simmer 30 minutes or put in a crockpot for several hours.
