Rhubarb Cherry Crunch

Ingredients

1 cup of oatmeal

1 cup of brown sugar

1/2 cu of margarine

1 cup of flour

pinch of salt

 

*Mix together and press 2/3 inch thick in a 9×13 pan. Cover with 4-5 cups of diced rhubarb.

*Boil ’til thick the following:

  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 tbsp of cornstarch

Then add (1) can of cherry filling – mix well. Spoon over rhubarb. Sprinkle rest of crumb mix with 1/2 cup ground walnuts or topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve plain or with ice cream.
