Poppy Seed Chicken

Cut up (1) large chicken or may use chicken breast pieces. Boil about 1-hour, remove the chicken fat, skin and bone. Place in the bottom of 9×13 baking pan. Combine the following:

  • 16 oz. of sour cream
  • 2 cans of cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup of chicken broth

Mix and spread over chicken. Crush 1 1/2 stacks of Ritz crackers and sprinkle over soup mixture. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of poppy seeds on cracker crumbs. Drizzle 1/2 cup of melted butter on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
