Microwave Pickles

Pack jars with:

  • pickles
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • dill (or you can add green or red pepper/onion/etc.)
  • 1 tbls. of canning salt
  • 3/4 tbls. of brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup of vinegar

Add very hot hard water to the brim. Cover with saran wrap. Cook on high ’til bubbles come up the side of the jar (6-10 minutes) Meanwhile, have lids & rings in boiling water. Put on jar right away. Soon they will pop. Don’t do more than 2 or 3 at a time.
