Cereal Crunchies

Ingredients

1 cup of sifted flour

1/2 tsp. of soda

1/4 tsp. of baking powder

1/4 tsp. of salt

1/2 cup of butter

1/2 cup of sugar

1/2 cup of brown sugar

1 unbeaten egg

1/2 tsp. of vanilla

1 cup of rolled oats

1 cup of Rice Krispies

1/2 cup of flaked coconut

 

Let’s Cook!

Sift together the flour, soda, baking powder and salt. In separate bowl, cream butter gradually, adding white sugar and brown sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Blend in previously sifted ingredients and rolled oats, rice krispies and coconut. Shape into balls and flatten slightly on greased baking sheets. Bake for 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes 3 dozen.
