Yeast Squash Bread

1/2 cup of warm water

1/2 cup of warm milk

2 1/4 tsp. yeast or 1 packet

1/2 cup of warm squash

2 tbs. of brown sugar

1 tbs. soft butter

1 tsp of salt

3 1/2 cups of flour (or more depending on thickness)

Mix water, milk and yeast until yeast dissolves. Add squash, sugar, butter and salt. Add 3 cups of flour and add more as needed. Knead, or use a kitchen-aid mixer, until bread no longer sticks to your hands or the side of the bowl. Put dough in a greased bowl and let rise until double in size. Punch down and put into 2 greased loaf pans. Let rise 1-hour. Turn over on to 350 and put bread in and bake for 30 minutes or until sides of bread are light brown.

Spread butter over hot bread.

Enjoy!
