Busy Day Corn with Vegetables

Ingredients

3 1/2 oz. can of french fried onion rings

1 medium sliced tomato

1/2 tsp. of sugar

1/4 tsp. of salt

17 oz. can of whole kernel corn – drained

1/4 tsp. of celery seed

1 tbsp. of butter

 

Bake or broil. Butter 4 individual bakers or broilers or 1 quart casserole or sizzle platter. Spread onion rings on bottom – reserving several rings for a garnish. Cut tomato into 4 slices and arrange on top of onions. Sprinkle with sugar and salt. Spoon corn over this. Sprinkle with celery seed and dot with butter. Bake 350 degrees for 15 minutes or broil 4 inches from heat for about 8 minutes or until vegetables are hot. Garnish with onion rings. (I usually use corn off the cob, cooked first, either fresh or from freezer.
